Lynn University

Will Irvin was named the head coach of the Lynn University women's tennis program in July 2026.

Irvin comes to Boca Raton following three successful seasons as head coach at Delta State University, where he orchestrated one of the Gulf South Conference's top program turnarounds. After inheriting a team that won just two matches in 2023-24, he rebuilt the Lady Statesmen into an 11-9 squad in 2025-26, securing the program's first winning season in several years and a berth in the Gulf South Conference Championship Tournament.

Prior to Delta State, Irvin spent two seasons as head coach at Northwest Mississippi Community College. During his tenure, he led the Rangers to back-to-back NJCAA National Championship appearances and helped the program earn its first state playoff berth since 2017 while developing multiple nationally ranked student-athletes.

Before entering collegiate coaching, Irvin worked in athletic administration at the University of Florida in athletic ticket sales after spending five years at Mississippi State University in event operations, fan experience and outbound sales.

A native of Mississippi, Irvin played collegiately at Meridian Community College before finishing his collegiate career at Mississippi State. He earned All-Region 23 Conference honors, captured individual and conference championships and helped his teams achieve national success.

Irvin earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology, sports studies and communications from Mississippi State University after completing his associate degree at Meridian Community College.
