Lakeland, Fla. – Lynn University's women's basketball team fell to Florida Southern, 84-61, Saturday night at FSC's Jenkins Field House.  The Fighting Knights fall to 7-8 overall and 1-4 in SSC play while the Moccasins improve to 12-2, 5-0 in league play.

FSC led from start to finish and led 46-22 at halftime as they shot 44% from the field and got 18 second-chance points in the first half.  Lynn shot just 25.6% in the first as Amanda Schultz had half of the team's points in the opening period.

Lynn shot 50% in the second half but committed 11 turnovers in the session leading to easy baskets for Florida Southern.

Schultz led all scorers with a career-high 21 points on 6-9 shooting, including 8-10 from the free throw line.  Marquis Lee scored all 14 of her points in the second half while Tashina Bailey had eight points and 11 rebounds.
