Box Score Winter Park, Fla. – Lynn University's women's basketball closed out the regular season with a 66-54 victory over Rollins Saturday afternoon at Warden Arena. The Fighting Knights will enter the Sunshine StateConference Tournament at 12-14 overall and 6-10 in the SSC while the Tars fall to 21-7 and 9-7 in conference play.
Kira Harvey led all scorers with a season-high 21 points and she got plenty of help from Chelsea Patterson with 17 and Quanisha Dixon with ten. Dixon also added a game-high nine rebounds and seven steals.
LU outshot Rollins 42.4% to 32.8% as the Tars lived and died by the three going 9-of-33 from long distance. More than half of Rollins' attempts (33 out of 64) came from behind-the-arc as Lynn led by as many as 19 with just under three minutes to go in regulation.
