BOCA RATON, Fla.—Lynn University's men's basketball team could not overcome a 26 turnover night en route to a 63-43 Sunshine State Conference loss to the Eckerd Tritons on Wednesday.
Slobodan Miljanic led Lynn (10-10, 3-5 SSC) with 15 points and five boards. DeMario Fountain added seven and Bo Jukic contributed six.
Eckerd (11-3, 4-2 SSC) started the game grabbing a 15-8 lead after a 6-0 run with 11:17 left in the first half. The Fighting Knights answered back and took an 18-17 advantage after a DeMario Fountain steal and fast break layup.
The Blue & White ended the half on a 9-2 run to go into the locker room up 29-24. Miljanic tallied 12 points in the first half as the Knights shot 45 percent from the field and 42 percent from behind the arc.
