Miami Shores, Fla. -- Lynn University's volleyball team traveled south to Miami Shores on Tuesday night, falling to Sunshine State Conference foe Barry University in straight sets.

• Set 1 | Tied up at 9-9, Cleuza Porto recorded three of her five kills in the frame to rally Lynn to a 6-0 run. The Fighting Knights were able to keep up the momentum to build a 21-18 advantage, but the Bucs came on strong at the end to steal the set, 25-23.
• Set 2 | The Blue & White trailed for nearly the entire second set, but never let Barry out of their sights. Down 22-19, Lynn committed three costly errors to allow the home side to go up 2-0 in the match.
• Set 3 | Lynn got on top early with 3-0 and 5-2 leads, but once Barry took over at 10-9, they never gave it back. The Bucs closed out the final period with a 6-0 run to take the match in straight sets.

• Porto was Lynn's featured hitter from start to finish, recording 10 kills on 35 attacks.
• Katie Knight (13) and Cristina Llorens (11) led the backline defense with double-digit digs, with Llorens adding six kills for the offense.
• Claire Angelich, Morgan Dulaney and Nicol Colonna notched four kills apiece.
• Marissa Tandron (22) and Jayden Davila-McClary (9) each saw time at the setter position, combining for 31 of the team's 32 assists.

• Lynn was limited to a season-low-tying two blocks.
• Porto tallied her seventh match in double figures this season, and fourth in the past two weeks.
• As the top serving team in the conference, two of Lynn's four lowest service-ace outputs this season were against Barry.
