Box Score Saint Leo, Fla. – Despite dominating the pace of play and the stat sheet, Lynn University's men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Saint Leo in the Sunshine State Conference Championship semifinals. The Fighting Knights record moves to 9-4-2 and awaits its fate for the NCAA Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Saint Leo grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute when Brandon Rivera headed in a throw-in.
- With Lynn's defense stretched thin in an attempt to score the equalizer, Rivera tallied his second goal of the match in the 83rd minute.
- Bernd Eilers cut the deficit to 2-1 with his third goal of the season in the 84th minute.
STATS OF THE GAME:
- Lynn outshot Saint Leo 26-10 overall and led 10-4 in corner kicks.
- Jonny DeMoya turned away three shots while his counterpart James White tallied seven saves.
- Chris Hellmann attempted nine shots, one fewer than the entire Lions squad.
BEYOND THE BOX:
- This marks the first time in program history Lynn has lost to Saint Leo twice in a season and third time they have lost consecutive games to the Lions.
