HOW IT HAPPENED
- First Quarter: Nina Guillaume gave the Fighting Knights the first bucket of the game, but Amra Elezovic responded with a three-pointer that gave Barry its first lead. Lynn led for most of the opening frame, expanding its lead to as many as five in the final 15 seconds. Shatorria Baker paced the Blue and White with five points, and Lynn led 18-16 after the first ten minutes.
- Second Quarter: Barry's Kimbreli Flournoy tied the game 55 seconds into the second quarter, the beginning of a 7-0 Buccaneer run. Five Fighting Knights found the bottom of the net, but Barry led four the last nine minutes of the half, carrying a slim 32-30 lead into the locker room at the intermission.
- Third Quarter: Lynn worked the inside game to start the second half, as forwards Guillaume, Charla Nelson-James, and Bria Huffmann teamed up for 10 of the team's first 13 points. The Fighting Knights shot 53.8% from the floor in the third quarter, and Barry posted their third straight 16-point period. Heading to the final frame, the scoreboard showed a 48-48 tie.
- Fourth Quarter: The two teams went back and forth for the majority of the fourth quarter, but the final 2:35 proved to be a pivotal stretch.
