HOW IT HAPPENED:
- First Quarter: The Fighting Knights controlled the opening tip, setting up Nina Guillaume to knock down a mid-range jumper nine seconds into the game. The Lynn defense immediately showed its cards, executing a full-court press. An 8-0 run and a 61.5-percent shooting clip for the quarter gave Lynn a 20-13 edge after the opening period.
- Second Quarter: Lynn extended its advantage to 12 early in the second frame behind a triple from Shatorria Baker and a fast break layup by Tifani Kerrison. The offensive prowess would quickly cool off however, as missed jumpers and turnovers plagued the Blue & White for the remainder of the half. Kerrison and Baker finished the half with seven points each to give Lynn a 30-25 lead going into the locker room.
- Third Quarter: A Bria Huffman free throw opened up the scoring, but the introductory minutes of the second half favored the Tars. Rollins collected steals on three of the next four possessions while embarking on a lead-garnering 12-2 run. With 2:27 left in the third, Shaunt'e Tucker and Brekia Henderson combined for five straight to give Lynn its final lead of the game.
- Fourth Quarter: Lynn trialed by three heading into the final stanza, but Rollins' Maria Gilbert helped her squad extend the lead and secure the victory by shooting perfect from the field and swatting three blocks.

- Baker finished the contest as Lynn's leading scorer (12) and rebounder (8), and was the only Fighting Knight to sink multiple treys.
