Box Score DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Last time out Lynn volleyball won its first share of a conference title in program history. There's a good chance that was on their mind when they went to Embry-Riddle looking to claim the title outright and saw the Eagles take the first set. The Fighting Knights fought back and held off Embry-Riddle to win in five sets and win the program's first outright Sunshine State Conference championship.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- A pair of Lynn hitters had a huge night led by Marine Kinna led all players with 27 kills. She added 14 digs as well.
- The second half of the dynamic due is reigning offensive player of the week Sonja Udovcic who had 24 kills of her own and posted an extremely rare 20-20 double-double with a 25 digs.
- Biatriz Souza Berti lost her hold on the setter of the week honor but made a strong case for regaining the award with 65 assists.
- Ruth Zijlstra played a huge role in the comeback win with a match-high 28 digs.
- Olivia La Plume was also in double figures in digs with 17.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Kinna's 27 kills are a new career-high for her and the most posted by any Lynn player this season. It was her second 20-plus kill performance of the season.
- Souza Berti's 65 assists are not only a career-high but the most in a single match by any Lynn player since 2002.
- Udovcic posted over kills for the first time this season. Her 25 digs are the second-most she has had in a match this year.
- Zijlstra now has the top two dig performances this season for Lynn.
WINNING STREAK:
- Claiming their first conference championship has found a way to put the Fighting Knights program-record 13-match winning streak.
- Lynn has now swept the season series over eight teams.
- They have added to their record for single-season wins now at 26.
