Box Score Boca Raton, Florida - The Fighting Knights completed the season sweep of Palm Beach Atlantic, dropping the Sailfish in four sets. It was Lynn's third straight victory and their fifth in six tries.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The first set was a back and forth game, with Lynn opening up a 20-17 lead late. However, the Sailfish ended the set on an 8-3 run to complete the comeback and take the 1-0 lead.
- In the second set, the Fighting Knights jumped out to an early 4-1 lead, but they relinquished it when PBA went on a 6-0 run. But Lynn fought back and squeaked out the 25-22 victory to even things up at 1-1.
- In the third set, the Fighting Knights used two separate 4-0 runs to take the 2-1 lead in the match.
- In the fourth and final set, the Fighting Knights took a 4-3 lead and never looked back. They led all the way from then until the final score of 25-17. The set victory gave them the 3-1 win and a season sweep over the Sailfish.
- SSC Defensive Player of the Week Ruth Zijlstra recorded 24 digs as her defensive efforts helped hold PBA to a kill percentage of just .075. Nadia Lindner also recorded double-digit digs, registering 11 for the match.
- Lindner and Sonja Udovcic also led the way in kills for the Fighting Knights, each recording 14. They were the only two Lynn players to record double-digit kills.
- Setters Emily Edwards and Adrianna Casados were just about even in assist, with Edwards recording 23 and Casados recording 22.
- Lauren Odom and Victoria Macluso each recorded five total blocks. Odom led the team with two solo blocks, while Macaluso led the way with four block assists.
- The Fighting Knights end their five-game homestand with a 4-1 record, their only loss coming to No. 12 Tampa. After starting the season 3-5, Lynn has won six of their last eight games, and they're currently sitting in fourth place in the SSC.
UP NEXT:
The Fighting Knights will head to Eckerd to take on the Tritons on Friday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. It will be Lynn's first road game of October.
