STATS OF THE GAME:

  • It was a physical back and forth game that saw very few offensive chances for either team. The Fighting Knights put four shots on goal, while the Mocs put up just two.
  • After a very slow first half, Lynn came out and started to open up the game. It eventually led to a goal from Sinisa Sprecakovic in the 59th minute. It was his second goal of the season, and the only one scored in the match. In the first meeting between these two teams, Sprecakovic was credited with the assist on the game-winning goal.
  • Patrick Nettekoven was able to handle both shots that he faced to record his fourth shutout of the year.
  • Sprecakovic had two of the four shots on goal. The others were recorded by Alexandre Horveno and Lukas Hombach

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:

  • Back when these teams met in Lakeland earlier in the season, it was Kyle Patton who scored the lone goal of the game. He did not see any action in tonight's match.
  • With Palm Beach Atlantic taking down Tampa tonight, the Fighting Knights are the last remaining unbeaten in the SSC.
