Box Score Boca Raton, Florida - The Fighting Knights battled with the Eagles all afternoon, but they lost two sets that went into extra points, and it sent them to 9-5 in the SSC this season.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- In the first set, the Eagles were able to take care of business and pick up their fourth consecutive set win over the Fighting Knights this season. Behind a hit percentage of .250, Embry-Riddle won the set 25-20.
- The Fighting Knights bounced back in a big way in the second set, at one point leading 15-5. The Eagles went on a run of their own to make things interesting, clawing all the way back to make the score 19-17, but Lynn put the game away with a late 6-2 run to even up the match at 1-1.
- The third set saw the Fighting Knights play their longest game of the season. An epic back and forth battle between the two teams pushed the score all the way into the 30s. Despite earning three set points, the Fighting Knights weren't able to put the Eagles away, and Embry-Riddle won the game 32-30.
- The fourth set was another back and forth battle. The Eagles built up a 23-19 lead, but behind the clutch serving of Isabella Gentile, the Fighting Knights tied the match up at 23. They pushed it into extra points, but it was again the Eagles who put the game away to come out victorious and complete the season sweep over Lynn.
- Nadia Lindner continued her incredible play, posting a new season-high of 25 kills to lead the Fighting Knights. Sonja Udovcic was the only other Fighting Knight to record double-digit kills (15).
- Lindner also led the team in solo blocks, recording two. Milica Kusmuk led the Fighting Knights with five total blocks, while Lauren Odom finished just behind her with four.
- Udovcic and Lindner each recorded double-doubles with Lindner posting 15 digs and Udovcic posting 10. Ruth Zijlstra led the team with 19.
- Emily Edwards and Adrianna Casados were just about even in assists, with Edwards recording 28 and Casados 25.
- As a team, the Fighting Knights actually outperformed the Eagles in numerous key stat categories. They outhit the outhit Embry-Riddle .209-.167, posted 70 digs compared to 61, and they recorded 63 kills compared to 54. However, it was the Eagles who were able to win two incredibly competitive sets to leave Boca Raton with the win.

The Fighting Knights head on the road for four matches in a row, beginning with a huge game against Tampa on Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. The Spartans are currently 22-2 and tied for first in the SSC standings.
