Lindner and Odom lead Fighting Knights to 3-0 victory over Barry

Boca Raton, Florida - The Fighting Knights commanded the match for three sets to win 3-0. Nadia Lindner recorded 10 kills and 10 digs. Lauren Odom put up nine kills and seven blocks.

STATS OF THE MATCH:

  • In the first set, the Fighting Knights were led early on by Lindner to win the set. Lindner put up three kills and two aces. Odom and Victoria Macaluso added four kills each. The Fighting Knights would win the set 25-20.
  • In the second set, the Fighting Knights kept up the pressure to win their second consecutive set. Lindner and Macaluso put up three kills each, with Lindner adding an ace. Ruth Zijlistra recorded two aces. Odom and Lindner combined on a block to end the set. The Fighting Knights won the second set 25-20.
  • In the third set, the Fighting Knights sealed the deal behind Milica Kusmuk's five kills. Lindner was right behind her with four kills of her own. Odom also put up three kills, and Morgan Browne recorded two. Both Odom and Browne recorded a block. The Fighting Knights won the match with a 25-21 third set victory.
  • The Fighting Knights recorded 43 kills to the Bucs' 37. The Fighting Knights also recorded 16 blocks compare to six for the Bucs.
  • Lindner led the Fighting Knights in kills with 10, followed by Odom (9), Macaluso (8), and Kusmuk (7). Odom led the team with seven blocks.

The Fighting Knights have one game remaining in this homestand. They will take on Palm Beach Atlantic on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.
