Miami Shores, Florida – The Fighting Knights outscored Barry 40-34 in the second half, but the run wasn't enough to overcome a 14-point first-half deficit, as they fell to 0-2 in SSC play.

STATS OF THE GAME:

• Lynn started the first half in a shooting slump and managed just 11 points in the first 20 minutes. They were able to get the offense rolling in the second half, scoring almost four times as many points as in the first two quarters, but it wasn't enough to knock off the Bucs. 
• The Fighting Knights have a strong start to the season from the free throw line, and their 11-12 performance in the second half was a huge part of getting them back into the game.
• Uloma Enyogasi led the charge tonight for the Fighting Knights scoring 12 points to go along with six rebounds for the game. Enyogasi is averaging 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds on the season.
• Like she did in the Fighting Knights last game, Dani Lozzi stuffed the stat sheet in the fourth quarter scoring four points to go along with three rebounds and three assists.
• Kennedi Philson and Rachel Romich combined for 16 second-half points which almost helped get Lynn over the top against Barry.
• Despite Lynn's solid performance from the free throw line, Barry was even better, shooting 20-21 from the stripe in the game. The disparity from the line was a big factor in the outcome of the game.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:

• Barry is 4-1 on the season and they are beating their opponents by an average of 9.7 points per game.
• The Fighting Knights are currently boasting the second-best defense in the conference, and it showed in their game against the Bucs. They held Barry to their lowest scoring outing and their worst shooting performance of the season.
