Boca Raton, Florida – The Fighting Knights came up short in a defensive battle against Embry-Riddle 62-51.

STATS OF THE GAME:

• The Fighting Knights started off running, jumping out to an 8-3 lead in the first five minutes of the game while forcing three straight turnovers during that stretch.
• In the second quarter, Embry-Riddle started on a 10-2 run pushing their lead up to 10 in the first five minutes of the quarter. Lynn came storming back with a 10-2 run of their own to put them down 27-23 entering the half.
• The second half was evenly matched until late in the third quarter. With less than a minute left in the third Embry-Riddle started an 11-3 that stretched through the first half of the fourth quarter.
• Uloma Enyogasi led the Fighting Knights in scoring for the second straight game putting in 17 points to go along with 7 rebounds.
• Dani Lozzi stuffed the stat sheet for the Fighting Knights. Lozzi had eight points, seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals and did not miss a single shot from the floor.
• The Fighting Knights dominated on the defensive side of the ball which has been their calling card this year. Lynn held Embry-Riddle to 37.5% shooting from the floor and 25% from the three-point line.
• Lynn had six blocks with Brianna Sliwinski leading the way with two.
