Box Score Davie, Florida – Missing a few key players, the Fighting Knights traveled to Davie to take on the No. 3 team in the country. They hung tough with Nova Southeastern for the first half, but in the second, the Sharks pulled away for the victory.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Tommie Luke got the scoring started, wasting no time in hammering home a dunk just two seconds into the game. The two teams would trade baskets early before the Sharks slowly built up a seven-point lead.
- The Fighting Knights continued to battle and chip away at the lead, and with 5:42 remaining in the first half, Ibrahima Sankare pulled off an and-one to give the Fighting Knights the 28-26 lead, their first since the first minute of the game.
- The lead was short-lived as the Sharks were able to hit a three to take the lead back.
- But Lynn refused to go away. Jamison Evans knocked down a pair of free throws to give the Fighting Knights a 32-31 lead. The two teams continued trading baskets for the remainder of the half, with the Sharks taking a 42-38 lead into the break.
- In the first 20 minutes, the Fighting Knights got to the line more than the Sharks, finishing 11-13 from the stripe, while Nova was just 4-7. Lynn also outrebounded the Sharks 21-17. However, Nova knocked down four threes, while the Fighting Knights were just 1-9 from deep.
- Cameron Gaines went a perfect 4-4 from the field in the first half to lead the Fighting Knights with nine points. Christian Peevy scored eight and was a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.
- Luke scored four points and had all three steals for Lynn in the first half.
- The second half was all Nova Southeastern. The Sharks came out with a vengeance, and they opened up a 20-point lead before the midway point of the half. The lead grew to as many as 24 later in the period, with the Sharks ultimately coming away with the 89-72 victory.
- Peevy led the team with 19 points, but his streak of five-straight double-doubles came to an end, as he finished with nine rebounds to lead the Fighting Knights.
- Gaines, who was perfect in the first half, did not attempt a shot from the field in the second but did knock down both free throws he attempted to finish the game perfect from both the field and the free throw line.
- Evans was tied with Gaines for second-most points on the team, as both players scored 11.
- Luke also finished in double figures, scoring 10.
- In the game, Lynn outrebounded the Sharks 36-29. However, the Sharks had just nine turnovers all game, while the Fighting Knights had 22.
