ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Flagler used a strong fourth quarter to defeat the Lynn University women's basketball team, 84-70 on Thursday evening.
The Fighting Knights settle at 8-3 overall with their first loss in four games.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The game was tied at 57 entering the fourth quarter before Flagler outscored Lynn 27-13 over the final 10 minutes for the win
- Flagler opened the fourth quarter on an 11-2 run
- Lynn led 24-19 after the first quarter, trailed by three at the half and outscored the Saints 19-16 in the third
- Lynn shot just 40.6 percent from the floor (28-of-69), its second-lowest percentage of the season
- The Fighting Knights also shot just 19.0 percent from three-point range (4-of-21)

Lucija Kostic hit back-to-back layups in the first quarter as Lynn led 13-4 and Kostic assisted a sophomore
Rachel Romich three-pointer at 1:40 as Lynn led 24-13
- The Saints rebounded in the second quarter to grab a 29-28 lead midway through the period
- Flagler increased the lead to seven, 35-28 with 3:53 to play
- Romich hit a three-pointer at 3:35 and graduate student
Jada Marone hit a three inside the final minute of the half as Lynn trailed 41-38 at intermission
- Flagler led by as many as seven in the third quarter, before two layups and a three-pointer from sophomore

- The Saints slowly increased their lead to 13 points, 73-60 with 1:59 remaining in the fourth quarter
