Boca Raton, Florida – The Fighting Knights dominate on the defensive end, in their second matchup of the season against Florida Tech. Lynn held the Panthers to 42% shooting to get the 65-45 victory.

STATS OF THE GAME:

• The Fighting Knights were in a dog fight in the first quarter, with the score tied 13-13 at the end of the period.
• Loie Webb led the way hitting two deep threes, for her six points in the quarter. Uloma Enyogasi was right behind her, with five points and a steal.
• Lynn created separation in the second quarter, thanks to stellar team play. Seven Lynn players scored in the quarter, giving the Fighting Knights a 31-25 lead at the half.
• Webb led the way in the first half with nine points, while Enyogasi and Dani Lozzi were not far behind with six points apiece.
• The third quarter was all Lynn. Florida Tech only managed to score nine points, on 26% shooting. A 17-9 run in the third pushed the game out of reach for the Panthers.
• Webb, Rachel Romich, and Kennedy Philson combined for 13 of the 17 points, only missing one shot during that stretch.
• The Fighting Knights carried their momentum from the third quarter to close the game, holding the Panthers to 20 points in the second half.
• Lynn uses their best defensive half of the season to secure a 65-45 victory over Florida Tech.
• Webb led the team in scoring with 18 points, while also grabbing two steals. Romich had 10 points of her own, shooting 2-3 from the three-point line.
• Lozzi was all over the stat sheet, putting in six points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.
• The Fighting Knights dominated on the backboard, outrebounding the Panther 38-27 for the game.
