STATS OF THE GAME:
- The Fighting Knights got out to a slow start, shooting 19% percent in the first quarter. After a tough quarter shooting Lynn trailed 15-11 after the first.
- Lynn tightened up defensively in the second quarter, holding Palm Beach Atlantic to 36% shooting for the quarter.
- At the half, the Fighting Knights took a slim 27-26 advantage going into the locker room. Rachel Romich led the way in the first half for the Fighting Knights, scoring eight points, and grabbing two steals.
- The third quarter saw Lynn continue their dominance on the defensive side of the ball. Palm Beach Atlantic shot 27% from the floor, while Lynn took full advantage.
- Uloma Enyogasi had a big third quarter, scoring eight points, and pulling down eight rebounds. Romich was huge in the third as well, recording four steals, and scoring six points.
- The Fighting Knights put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter. Romich had 10 of the 20 points in the quarter for Lynn, stretching the lead to as many as 20.
- Lynn had another spectacular defensive performance, holding Palm Beach Atlantic to 33% shooting from the floor.
- Romich made a three with 29 seconds left in the game, leaving no hope for Palm Beach Atlantic. Lynn dominated both sides of the ball, en route to a 64-48 victory.
- Romich led the way for the Fightings with a career-high 24 points, while also grabbing six steals. Followed by a double-double by Enyogasi, with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
- Kelsi Fizer was big on the backboard tonight, pulling down 11 rebounds, while also scoring six points.
- Dani Lozzi does what she has been doing all year, stuffing the stat sheet. Lozzi finished with five points, eight rebounds, five assists, and six steals.
