STATS OF THE GAME:
- The Fighting Knights were the aggressor to start this game taking a 17-11 lead after the first quarter. Lynn also held Rollins to 29% shooting from the floor in the first quarter.
- Rachel Romich started the game on fire with six points in the quarter, followed by Kelsi Fizer with four of her own.
- Both teams would struggle in the second quarter, shooting below 40% heading into halftime. Lynn was able to use their stellar defense to maintain the lead they had in the first to take a 28-20 lead at halftime.
- Romich was the leading scorer in the first half with seven points, while Fizer was right being her with five.
- Lynn kept up their steady performance coming out of the break, leading by as many as 16 in the third quarter. Fizer would lead the way in the quarter with five points with five other Lynn players contributing to the scoring column in the quarter.
- The game was put out of reach after the third. The Fighting Knights would coast to a 64-46 win over the Tars.
- It was only fitting that Fizer would lead the way for the Fighting Knights in her final home game for the blue and white. Fizer would finish the game with 16 points, seven rebounds, and great effort to cap things off for the senior.
- Uloma Enyogasi finished the game with 12 points, while also dishing out four assists in her final game for the Fighting Knights.
- Dani Lozzi stuffed the stat sheet in her final game. Lozzi has been doing this all season long for Lynn finishing with five points, six assists, and being a pest on the defensive end with six steals.
- Romich also had a big game for the Fighting Knights with 16 points while hitting five threes along with it.
- The Fightings Knights won their fifth straight game and go into the conference tournament on a roll.
