Boca Raton, Florida– The Fighting Knights could not recover from a slow start, falling 77-49 to Florida Southern.

STATS OF THE GAME:

• The Fighting Knights took a trip to take on the Florida Southern Moccasins for their second meeting of the season. Lynn won the first meeting in stunning fashion, rolling to a 75-43 victory.
• However, this time the roles were reversed, as Lynn struggled to shoot the ball out of the gates, which led to a big 26-7 first-quarter lead for the Mocs.
• The Fighting Knights buckled down in the second quarter on the defensive end, holding Florida Southern to 35% shooting from the field. Brianna Sliwinski led the way in the second quarter, recording one steal and a block. However, the shots still weren't falling for Lynn and they went into the half down 40-18.
• Lynn came out of the half and scored 15 led by Kennedi Philson who had five in the quarter. The Fighting Knights and Mocs each scored 16 in the final quarter of play.
• Uloma Enyogasi led the way for the Fighting Knights scoring 14 points in the game. She was followed by Sliwinski who had 10.
• Lynn outrebounded the Mocs 29-23 after outrebounding them 36-27 in the first meeting. It was one of the few bright spots in the game.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

• Enyogasi put up double figures for the sixth consecutive game.
• The Mocassins have been playing good basketball as of late, winning eight of their last 10 games.
