DAVIE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern scored two goals in the opening half and one in the second to hand the Lynn University women's soccer team a 3-0 defeat, Wednesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Luana Grabias put Nova Southeastern on the scoreboard with a goal at 20:02 for a 1-0 lead
- Louise Matsgard scored off an assist from Jordyn Pitter in the 36
th minute as the Sharks led 2-0 at halftime
- Katharina Jullich tacked on the final goal in the 74
th minute
- Lynn attempted the game's first three shots and forced Nova keeper Stefane Rosa to make a save in the 10
th minute
- Junior
Katja Orschmann ripped a shot at 25:40 that forced another save from Rosa
- Lynn had five chances to get on the scoreboard in the second half, but all five efforts were turned away by Rosa
- Lynn starting keeper
Hannah Harbich-Kuster posted three saves in the game
- Orschmann led the Fighting Knights with four shots, three on goal
