CLEVELAND, Miss. – Freshman
Kayla Bradby scored her first collegiate goal to help lift the Lynn University women's soccer team to a 1-0 shutout victory over Delta State, Sunday.
The win evens the Fighting Knights overall record at 2-2 and wraps up the team's weekend trip to Mississippi.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn dominated the contest offensively holding a 19-8 lead in shots and a 5-1 edge in corner kicks
- Bradby's goal came on the first shot of the afternoon for Lynn at 10:26
- Freshman
Amanda Jansson was credited with the assist, the first of her collegiate career
- Lynn finished the first half with eight shots, while the Fighting Knight defense limited the hosts to just three attempts
- The second half brought more of the same from Lynn as it outshot Delta State, 11-5

Denise Mendoza picked up the win after playing the full 90 minutes in net

Brigitta Pulins tallied six shots for the Fighting Knights, while junior Katja Orschann finished with four
