BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 23
rd-ranked Lynn University men's tennis team cruised past NCAA Division III St. Olaf, 7-0, at Perper Tennis Complex, Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights improved to 9-4 on the season after starting the afternoon with three dominating wins in doubles action
- Sophomore
Haktan Garayev and senior
Nicolas Cabrera earned the first win with a 6-0 shutout of Henry Kruse and Ben Anderson in the third flight
- It was their first win as a tandem this spring
- Freshman
Ray Chavez and freshman
Yaron Guberman earned the second shutout in doubles in the second flight with a 6-0 defeat of Max Loesch and Jerusalem Thao
- Chavez and Guberman are now 8-3 in doubles but 1-0 in the second flight
- In the top flight, senior
Diego Gonzalez and sophomore
Gianmarco Amatiste downed Henry Smith and Bogdan Vizoli, 6-2
- The duo is 10-1 this spring
- Lynn was just as dominating in singles action
- Guberman and Amatiste each posted shutouts at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively
- Guberman downed Kruse to improve to 9-2 this spring, while Amatiste shutout Thao to push his record to 9-2
- Gonzalez defeated Vizoli, 6-1, 6-1 in the top flight, Chavez took down Jakub Belik, 6-1, 6-1 in the fourth flight and Garayev defeated David Azcona, 6-1, 6-1 in the sixth flight
- Gonzalez is now 6-4 in singles, Garayev is an even 5-5 and Chavez is 5-1
- Sophomore
Gabriele Felline was victorious in the second flight with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Smith
- Felline now carries a 7-2 overall record in singles
