DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The No. 4 Lynn University women's tennis team collected its fourth-straight win and third-consecutive victory over a ranked opponent with a dominating 5-2 defeat of No. 31 Embry-Riddle, Friday afternoon. The Fighting Knights are now 14-3 overall on the spring and 4-2 in the SSC.

- The Fighting Knights rolled to three wins in doubles action for a 1-0 lead
- Senior
Giorgia Pigato and junior
Barbora Cibakova posted the first win in doubles with a 6-2 win over Kaylee Kirivong and Jessica Wira Hadipoe in the third flight
- They are 5-1 in the third flight with four-straight wins
- Freshman
Salma Djoubri and sophomore
Greta Schieroni posted a 6-4 win over Sabrina Ehrenfort and Carla Cabero del Hie in the second flight
- They are now 2-0 as a tandem in the second flight
- Sophomore
Zofia Podbiol and freshman
Kristen Younes earned a 6-4 win in the first flight over Itxaso Blanco and Maja Issler
- Schieroni posted the win in singles action as she defeated Maja Issler, 6-1, 6-1, in the second flight
- She is now 9-3 overall in singles and 6-3 at No. 2 singles
- Podbiol earned Lynn's second singles win with a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Ehrenfort at No. 5 singles
- She is now 6-1 in the fifth flight this spring
- Pigato and Cibakova rounded out the singles wins for the Fighting Knights
- Pigato downed Hadipoe 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in the fourth flight, while Cibakova beat Alessia Tripaldelli, 6-1, 6-3, in the sixth flight
- Pigato is 11-3 on the season and 6-1 at No. 4 singles and Cibakova is undefeated at 4-0 in singles action
