SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Graduate student Stephen Becker registered seven points and graduate student Colin Casey notched nine saves to help Lynn men's lacrosse to a 15-8 win over Colorado State-Pueblo, Sunday afternoon. The win pushes Lynn's record to 4-3 overall on the season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights jumped out to a 5-1 after the first quarter and never looked back
- Lynn outshot the Thunderwolves 39-27, led 34-19 in ground balls, finished 20-of-22 on clears and won 16-of-26 faceoffs
- Senior Thomas Murray scored the first goal of the game at 10:45 and added a second with 4:00 minutes left in the first as Lynn led 5-1 after one
- The teams exchanged two goals each in the second quarter as sophomore Tyler Van Wart and junior Connor Koppelman scored for Lynn
- Senior Jalen Stanton opened the second half with a goal just 42 seconds into the half
- Becker scored back-to-back goals and junior Colin Farragher scored with 51 seconds left in the third as the Fighting Knights led 13-6
- Farragher scored with 8:47 left in the fourth, while senior Fisher Williams scored the game's final goal at 5:32
 
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Becker scored three goals and added seven assists
- Williams and Murray each scored three goals
- Farragher scored twice and added one assist
- Graduate student Michael Miocic won 15-of-24 faceoffs and scooped up six ground balls
- Graduate student Chase Showalter added five ground balls
- Casey had nine saves
