BOCA RATON, Fla. – Sophomores Greta Schieroni and Zofia Podbiol each posted two wins on the day as the sixth-ranked Lynn women's tennis team cruised to a 4-0 shutout win of Valdosta State. The women are now 6-1 on the spring, while the Blazers are now 0-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights won first and second doubles to capture the point in the team standings
- Schieroni and Podbiol kicked off the match with a 6-2 win in the top doubles flight over Natalie Kohoutkova and Anastasiia Vorobiova. It's their third-straight doubles win.
- The Blazers took the second doubles flight as Evelyn Altmaier and Shaye Longwell downed senior Giorgia Pigato and freshman Dolores Molina, 6-4
- Freshman Salma Djoubri and freshman Kristen Younes posted the win at No. 2 doubles with a 6-4 decision over Olivia Pezo and Kayla Greco. Djoubri and Younes are 4-0 in the second singles flight this spring
- Lynn sealed the win by taking the second, fifth and sixth singles flights
- Schieroni is now 6-0 in singles action after defeating Pezo in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles
- Podbiol posted a 6-1, 6-1, win at No. 5 singles over Altmaier
- Molina rounded out the match with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Jorja Renolds in the sixth singles flight. She is 4-0 this spring in singles play
