MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The fourth-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team had its season come to an end on Tuesday with a 4-0 loss to No. 1 ranked Barry University in the 2023 NCAA South Region Final.

- The Buccaneers won the second and third doubles flights for the early 1-0 lead
- For the second-straight day, the freshmen tandem of
Salma Djoubri and
Dolores Molina posted a win at No. 1 doubles defeating Angela Leweurs and Dinara Alloiarova, 6-4
- Barry captured the match win by taking the fourth, third and fifth singles flights
- Junior
Barbora Cibakova posted the closest match of the three losses as she dropped her fifth singles flight to Selina Pichler, 3-6, 6-0, 5-7
- Senior
Giorgia Pigato lost her No. 3 singles match, 6-2, 6-4, while sophomore
Zofia Podbiol dropped her fourth flight singles match, 6-4, 6-4

Kristen Younes had her second flight singles match go unfinished as she led 19
th-ranked Dinara Alloiarova, 7-6 (7-3), 2-6, 3-1
- Djoubri had her highly contested top singles match go unfinished as well against No. 1 ranked Deniz Khazan, 2-6, 6-2, 1-3
- Molina played in the sixth flight in singles against No. 63 Clara Versier, but that match was unfinished 1-6, 6-4, 1-5
Lynn caps the season at 19-6 overall and 7-2 in the SSC.
