NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The IWLCA has announced its 2023 Academic Honor Squads and Honor Roll selections and Lynn University was honored for its excellence in the classroom throughout the 2022-23 academic year.
The Fighting Knights finished the year with a cumulative team GPA of 3.63 and were one of 289 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA that posted a 3.2 or higher GPA. Lynn has been named an Academic Honor Squad in each of the last three years.
While the Fighting Knights were honored as a team, nine individual student-athletes were named to the 2023 Honor Roll.
Graduate Makinsey Hamer led the way with a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in business administration. She was joined on the honor roll by junior
Diane Dohler (3.97 – Film Production), senior
Lauren Dickson (3.95 - Biology), senior
Catherine Whitcomb (3.88 – Political Science), junior
Riley Stewart (3.75 – Visual Art & Design), senior
Ginger Stein (3.74 – Psychology), senior
Delaney Gould (3.71 – Media Studies & Practice), senior
Sydney Hill (3.69 – Political Science) and junior
Jordyn McCullough (3.67 – Sports Management).
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
