BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University women's soccer team lost its Sunshine State Conference opener on Wednesday evening, falling 3-0 to Nova Southeastern. Despite the loss, the Fighting Knights were led by an 11-save performance from freshman keeper
Brooke Auth. The 11-saves are the most in a single-game since the 2017 campaign.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Auth got the first save of the night on a shot down the middle in the 5th minute.
- NSU's Sofia Suarez opened the scoring, putting a shot in the net in the 18th minute.
- The momentum stayed with the Sharks throughout the remainder of the half, but Auth saved five shots before the halftime whistle.
- In the 51st minute, Auth was in a one-on-one situation and saved the shot despite being slid into by an NSU player. The freshman remained in the game after the hit.
- NSU extended its lead to 2-0 after a 63rd minute goal from Tabea Schutt.

Tyler Vance put shots on frame in the 69th and 78th minute, respectively, but both shots were saved by the NSU keeper.
- Auth saved a pair of shots over a 10-minute span, but the Sharks got its third goal of the match from Suarez in the 82nd minute.
