WINTER PARK, Fla. – Junior
Aline Olegario set the Lynn volleyball program record with her 88
th career solo block during Lynn's sweep (25-17, 25-21, 25-13) of Rollins, Friday night. She accomplished the feat in just 269 sets.
The 17
th ranked Fighting Knights hit a robust .382 in the match to improve to 23-3 overall and 13-3 in the SSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Maria Cecilia Pinho's kill highlighted a 4-1 Lynn lead in the opening set
- Rollins evened the frame at nine

Ula Gorjup served an ace and then assisted a
Samantha Wolf kill during a 4-1 run to give Lynn a 13-10 lead

Fabia Gonzalez Stanton added three kills during a 6-0 run for a 21-13 advantage
- Olegario's record-setting block gave Lynn a 23-14 lead, as Lynn went on to win the set 25-17
- The Blue and White jumped out to a 6-2 lead in the second set
- Kills by Olegario and
Samantha Blahut, as well as an ace by
Joelle Alexander, put Lynn ahead 11-7
- The Tars tied the set at 11 before Lynn went on a 6-2 surge to lead by four
- Lynn finished the set on a 5-2 run as Blahut's kill put the road team up two sets to none with a 25-21 win
- Rollins started the third set with a 9-7 lead
- Lynn closed the set on an incredible 18-4 run to finish the match with a sweep

Alexis Williams each had two aces during the stretch
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:

- The Fighting Knights' .382 hitting percentage was their second highest total in a conference match this year (.418 vs. Saint Leo)
