BOCA RATON, Fla. – Leon Paulino drove in two runs and scored another two as the Fighting Knights used a four-run seventh inning for a 5-1 victory over Post, Sunday. Lynn is now 6-1 overall following a seven-game homestand to open the spring season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn and Post traded runs in the early going
- Paulino led off the bottom of the second inning with a single and advanced to third on a Post
- Paulino put Lynn on the board when he crossed the plate on a sacrifice fly from
Juan Carlos Camarena
- The Eagles answered in the top of the third with a run-producing single
- Right fielder
Shawn Dougherty saved a run with a diving catch at the warning track and doubled up the runner at second to end the inning
- The game remained 1-1 until the Fighting Knights exploded for a four-run seventh
