BOCA RATON, Fla. – Sophomore Salma Djoubri, junior Greta Schieroni and sophomore Kristen Younes won both their doubles and singles matches as the third-ranked Lynn women's tennis team shutout Valdosta State, 4-0, Sunday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Younes and junior Zofia Podbiol kicked off the afternoon with a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles over Denisa Hanakova and Victoriia Fedorova
- Djoubri and Schieroni picked up the team doubles point with a 6-0 victory over Aneta Poborilova and Natalie Rainke
- Djoubri and Rainke battled in the top singles flight with Rainke taking a 7-5 lead before Djoubri rallied 6-1, 6-1 for the win
- Schieroni won No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-3 over Fedorova
- Younes added a 7-5, 6-0 win in the third flight over Olivia Pezo
- Sophomore Jade Marie held a 6-3 lead over Hanakova in the fourth singles flight, but the match went unfinished as Djoubri defeated Rainke to clinch the 4-0 win
