BOCA RATON, Fla. – Twelve different players scored a goal and 14 registered as least one point as the 20
th-ranked Lynn University women's lacrosse team cruised to a 26-2 win over visiting North Greenville, Tuesday afternoon.
The Fighting Knights have now won five-consecutive games and are 6-1 overall on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn outshot the Crusaders 42-5 and the 26 goals are one shy of tying a program record
- The Fighting Knights were a perfect 14-of-14 on clear attempts, scooped up 13 ground balls and earned 19 draw controls
- Lynn scored nine goals in the opening quarter behind three goals from junior
Kristyn Johnson and two from sophomore
Elizabeth Clagett
- Clagett opened the second frame with a goal just 29 seconds in for a 10-0 lead
- Johnson closed the first half with four-straight goals for a 15-0 lead at halftime
- Freshman
Catie O'Connor scored the first goal of the second half 39 seconds into play
- Sophomore
Rebecca Clark opened the fourth with a goal and a 21-2 advantage
- Freshman
Angelia Huggins tacked on two in the fourth to set the final at 26-2
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Johnson finished with eight goals, one assist and two draw controls
- Clark again filled up the stat sheet with three goals, four assists, three ground balls, four caused turnovers and one draw control

Mallory Jarka scored twice and handed out four assists
- Sophomore
Olivia Fox scored one goal and added four assists
- Clagett (three goals/one assist) and O'Connor (one goal/three assists) finished with four points each

Isabella Connelly recorded 10 draw controls and now has 100 for her career

Reagan Stewart played 30 minutes in goal for the win
