MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Lynn University men's tennis team collected its second-consecutive upset victory as the Fighting Knights took down No. 8 Barry, 4-3, Friday afternoon in Sunshine State Conference play. Lynn is now 8-5 overall and 4-3 in the league. Last Saturday, the Blue & White defeated No. 11 Florida Southern in Lakeland.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn opened the match with victories in the first and second doubles flights

Haktan Garayev and sophomore
Yaron Guberman posted a 6-2 victory over Joao Ferreria and David Rieme in No. 1 doubles
- It was duo's second win in the top flight this spring
- Graduate
Jonathan Olive-Blanco and junior
Gianmarco Amatiste defeated the eighth-ranked pairing of Bastien Rieme and Tim Riede, 7-5, in the second doubles flight
- They are now 9-2 in doubles this season
- Lynn sealed the match with wins in the third, fourth and fifth singles flights
- Guberman downed 55
th-ranked David Rieme in No. 3 singles, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5)
- Guberman is 9-1 overall in singles with an unblemished 5-0 mark in the third flight
- Olive-Blanco took down Riede 6-1, 1-6, 7-5 in the fourth flight
- He has six wins in singles
- Amatiste defeated Bastien Rieme in the fifth flight 0-6, 6-3, 6-4
- He now has eight wins in singles and is a perfect 4-0 in the fifth flight
