WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Lynn University men's lacrosse team jumped out to a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter before sixth-ranked Rollins rallied for an 18-10 win, Wednesday. The Fighting Knights are now 3-7 overall and 0-3 in the Sunshine State Conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Jalen Stanton, sophomore
Jackson Cutter and graduate
Thomas Murray each found the net over a 1:11 span in the first quarter as Lynn grabbed a quick 3-0 cushion
- The Tars scored four-straight goals before freshman
Will Harris connected on a shot with 14 seconds left in the first that tied things at 4-4
- Rollins again collected a scoring run, this time six-straight goals for a 10-4 advantage at halftime

Will Richardson opened the second half with a goal at 12:17 in the third
- Graduates
Scott Friant and
Joseph Michalski added goals later in the third that pulled Lynn to within seven, 14-7 after 45 minutes of play
- Harris scored to open the fourth and graduate
Brian Hoskins found the net at 10:26 as the Fighting Knights trailed just 14-9
- Another 4-0 run from the hosts increased their edge to 18-9 before Stanton scored for a second time with 26 seconds left to set the final at 18-10
- Rollins outshot Lynn 47-31 and held a slim 17-14 lead in faceoffs
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Stanton finished with two goals and two assists to pace Lynn with four points
- Harris scored twice, while Murray had one goal and one assist
