MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has announced its 2024 All-Conference teams and Lynn University freshman
Charlotte Brook was named the league's Freshman of the Year to highlight a pair of all-conference selections.
Brook was placed on the All-Conference First Team to go along with her Freshman of the Year award, while Fighting Knight senior
Sara Ericsson was named to the Third Team.
Brook, the program's fifth golfer to earn Freshman of the Year honors, posted seven top-15 finishes, including a third place at the UIndy Invitational and fourth at the Lady Moc Classic 2.0. She currently ranks 24
th in the Clippd rankings with a 73.1 adjusted scoring average and a 595-117-27 comparative record (.823 winning percentage).
Ericsson is ranked 43
rd in the nation according to Clippd with a 73.5 adjusted scoring average. She has a comparative record of 512-117-26 (.801) with four top-10 finishes, including third at the NCAA Championship Fall Preview. She is a three-time All-SSC honoree with First Team accolades in both 2022 and 2023.
The pair helped Lynn to a fourth place finish at the SSC Championships and the Blue & White return to action on Monday, May 6 for the opening round of the NCAA South Regional Championship.
