Johnson named IWLCA All-American

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The IWLCA has announced its 2024 NCAA Division II All-American teams and Lynn University junior standout Kristyn Johnson has been selected to the Third Team. Johnson is one of 48 student-athletes recognized by the IWLCA.

Johnson is the second IWLCA All-American in the history of the women's lacrosse program. Earlier this week, Johnson was named a USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American.

Johnson is second in the Sunshine State Conference in goals per game (3.95) and goals (75) and third in both points per game (4.89) and total points (93).

The Rochester, N.Y. native closed the season with three goals and one assist in Lynn's narrow 11-10 loss to Tampa in the program's first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament last week.

Her 93 points and 75 goals are both single season school records and she is also the program leader in career points (212). Earlier this season, she set the program record in both points (13) and goals (10) in a single game in Lynn's 27-17 win over UVA Wise.

She has also been named an IWLCA All-South Region Second Team honoree as well as First Team All-SSC selection.

The Fighting Knights closed the season at 13-6 overall and ranked 13th in the ILWoman/IWLCA DII Poll.
