BOCA RATON, Fla. – Seven of Lynn's nine runs were scored with two outs as the Fighting Knights defeated No. 1 Tampa, 9-5, Thursday afternoon. Starting pitcher
Nathan Shane picked up the win after allowing just three runs in six innings, while five Fighting Knight hitters posted multiple hits.
Lynn is now 22-26 overall this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first four Spartan batters reached base en route to a three-run top of the first inning
- Shane struck out two batters in a scoreless top of the third inning
