MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has unveiled the 2025 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll, and Lynn University is slated to finish fifth among the eight league teams.

The Fighting Knights garnered 26 points in the poll, narrowly trailing fourth-place Rollins by a single point. In 2024, Lynn wrapped up the year with a 13-6 overall record and ranked #11 in the final ILWomen/IWLCA Poll of the season.

Defending national champions Tampa claimed the top spot in the preseason rankings with 49 points. Florida Southern, last year's regular-season champions, secured second place with 43 points. Saint Leo rounded out the top three with 31 points, while Rollins followed closely in fourth.

The Fighting Knights open their 2025 season with a road game against Montevallo on Saturday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m.
