WINTER PARK, Fla. - No. 6 Lynn volleyball picked up a commanding 3-0 Sunshine State Conference victory over Rollins on Saturday evening, extending its strong start to conference play. The sweep was powered by a balanced offensive attack led by
Nadia Rossi, who recorded nine kills and eight digs while
Lillia Neill,
Brooke Jackson, and
Ula Gorjup also added key contributions throughout. With the win, the Fighting Knights improved to 13-1 overall and 3-1 in league play

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Lynn, 25-17
- Lynn opened strong with an early kill from Rossi off a
Fabia Gonzalez Stanton set, quickly establishing momentum
- Both teams traded points early, but Gorjup and Alexa Radulovic made key kills to keep the Blue and White ahead, 17-15
- Gorjup added another kill late in the set to extend the Blue and White lead to 20-17
- Following the Tars final timeout, Radulovic planted a service ace before
Aline Olegario sealed the opening frame with a pair of decisive kills from Gorjup, 25-17
- The Fighting Knights closed out the frame on an 7-0 run that featured four kills and a service ace
Set 2: Lynn, 25-23
- Rollins struck first, but Lynn quickly responded as Rossi, Radulovic, and Neill combined for multiple kills to maintain a slim lead, 8-5
- Key kills from Gorjup, Rossi, Neill and Jackson helped Lynn build separation, reaching 15-10
- Rollins fought back, tying the contest up at 20-20 following a late 7-1 run from the Tars
- Lynn relied on timely kills from its offense, with Rossi and Jackson delivering key points to close out the set 25-23, giving the Fighting Knights a 2-0 match lead
Set 3: Lynn, 25-18
- Lynn came out firing, with back-to-back service aces from Jackson to put the team up 2-0 immediately
- Neill and Rossi kept the pressure on Rollins with kills, while
Clara Maidantchik added a service ace midway through the set to maintain a 15-11 lead heading into Rollins' first timeout of the set
-The Tars threatened to close the gap at 18-17 but Neill, Jackson and Rossi produced key kills to maintain control, 21-17
- The Blue and White sealed the sweep with a final service ace from Jackson, 25-18, completing the 3-0 victory
- Jackson delivered three aces in the match with all three coming in the opening and closing points of the third set

FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Rossi paced the Fighting Knight offense with nine kills while delivering eight digs
- Her 181 kills currently rank fourth in the conference while she averages 3.77 kills a set
- Neill added seven kills and three blocks while hitting an impressive .353
- Neill ranks among the best in the league in hitting percentage at .353 for fifth while fellow middle-blocker Olegario ranks third (.359)
- Gorjup kept the Blue and White offense moving with 27 assists to bring her season total to 498
- She currently leads the SSC in assists per set at 10.60
- Jackson led the team with three service aces while Maidantchik and Radulovic each added two
- Maidantchik anchored the Lynn backline with a match-best 16 digs
