BOCA RATON, Fla. – No. 19 Lynn volleyball cruised to a sweep (25-15, 25-19, 25-12) of Florida Southern on Friday night. Brooke Jackson posted a double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs, while Rossi matched Jackson's 12 kills on .611 hitting.
 
With the win, head coach Adam Milewski secured his 200th career victory at Lynn. The Fighting Knights move to 19-8 overall and 9-8 in SSC play.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Set 1: Lynn, 25-15
- The Fighting Knights hit .400 in a dominant opening set
- Brooke Jackson gave Lynn an early 2-1 lead with a kill
- Leading 8-6, the Blue and White went on a 10-0 run to take a commanding 18-6 advantage
- Nadia Rossi posted five kills during the stretch
- Jackson posted a pair of kills to complete the 25-15 set win
 Set 2: Lynn, 25-19
- Lynn led the second set wire-to-wire
- Laney Wilson's kill highlighted a 4-0 start to the frame
- Rossi's kill doubled up the Mocs, 10-5
- A skip set from Hope Passerello, assisted by Fabia Gonzalez Stanton, put Lynn up by four points
- Back-to-back kills from Alexia Radulovic and Jackson put the Blue and White ahead 16-10
- Jackson's kill set up set point and Jackson and Aline Olegario finished the frame with a block
 Set 3:
- Lynn kept its momentum in the third set, hitting .556 and holding FSC to a -0.12 %
- Kills by Jackson and Radulovic gave Lynn an early 4-2 edge
- After FSC climbed to within one, the Fighting Knights went on a 5-0 spurt
- Lillia Neill and Rossi combined for a block and Joelle Alexander served an ace to complete the run
- Another 5-0 run forced a Florida Southern timeout, highlighted by blocks from Jackson and Neill and two kills by Radulovic
- Lynn led 20-9 over an emphatic kill by Neill and ace from Clara Maidantchik
- Olegario's kill completed the sweep off another assist from Passerello
  
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Lynn hit .364 while holding Florida Southern to .077
- Passerello dished out 32 assists, her most in a three-set contest since recording 34 assists against Florida Southern on 11/9/2024
- Maidantchik collected a game-high 15 digs
- Jackson, Olegario, Rossi and Neill each had two block assists, while Olegario also had the team's lone solo block
- Neill recorded her 200^th kill of the season and ranks third on the team (Rossi – 333, Jackson – 258)
- Lynn has won 13 straight matches against Florida Southern
- Adam Milewski improved to 200-98 (.681) as the Fighting Knight head coach
