BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn men's basketball delivered a dramatic finish in its Sunshine State Conference opener on Saturday evening, as
Antoine Jacks buried a game-winning three-pointer with 0.5 seconds remaining to lift the Fighting Knights to a thrilling 94-92 victory over Rollins inside the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center.
After seeing an 11-point lead slip away in the final minutes, the Fighting Knights stormed back with a flurry of defensive stops and clutch scoring before Jacks punctuated the comeback with the decisive left-wing triple off a drive-and-kick feed from
Max Polk. Lynn improves to 2-1 on the season and 1-0 in SSC play.

Braydon Iuli opened the scoring with a tip-in to tie the game at 2–2

Sveinn Birgisson, Polk and
John Roland drilled three straight three-pointers to give Lynn a 15–14 advantage with 16:00 left in the half
- Jacks splashed a transition three at 15:09 for an 18–15 lead
- Birgisson connected again from deep at 13:42 to extend the margin to 24–18
- Polk caught fire from beyond the arc, converting threes at 10:58, 9:00, 6:28 and 6:10 to push the lead to 46–34

JP Baron knocked down a corner three with two minutes left in the half to give Lynn a 53–39 cushion
- Rollins closed the half on a surge, but the Fighting Knights maintained a 53–49 advantage at the break
- Birgisson opened the second half with layups at 18:00 and 17:26 to make it 61–53
- Polk hit another triple at 15:20 to give Lynn its largest lead of the night, 68–54
- Rollins responded with an extended run and eventually took a 78–76 lead with 6:15 remaining
- The Tars stretched their advantage to 87–76 at the 2:53 mark before Lynn mounted its comeback
- The Blue and White erupted on a 9–2 run, highlighted by Iuli's three with under a minute to go, trimming the deficit to 89–85.
- Iuli scored a fastbreak layup at 0:23 to cut it to 92–87
- Jacks buried two free throws seconds later to pull Lynn within three, 92–89
- Iuli converted again with four seconds left, making it 92–91

Matthew Puodziukaitis anticipated a long Rollins pass and intercepted it, giving Lynn one final possession
- Polk attacked downhill before kicking out to Jacks, who sidestepped two defenders and drilled the game-winning three with 0.5 seconds left
- Rollins' heave from beyond half court fell short, sealing Lynn's dramatic 94–92, come-from-behind victory
