BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn men's basketball defeated No. 16 Florida Southern 107-74 on Saturday afternoon at the de Hoernle Sports Center. The Fighting Knights shot 56% from the field and used a series of extended runs to cruise to the victory.
Max Polk, the Blue and White's leading scorer this season, knocked down four three-pointers en route to a game-high 23 points.
John Roland added a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds as Lynn improved to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in Sunshine State Conference play, tied for second in the league standings.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Roland started Lynn's scoring with two baskets, including a steal and offensive rebound for a 4-2 lead
- A 9-0 run was capped by a Roland three for a 13-4 Fighting Knight advantage
