BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn's comeback bid fell short in a 73–63 loss to Bowie State on Saturday afternoon at the Lynn Holiday Classic. After trailing by as many as 18, the Blue and White pulled within four in the fourth quarter, fueled by 46% shooting from beyond the arc in the second half.
Hannah Wentworth poured in a game-high 26 points on 7-of-12 shooting, knocking down five three-pointers.
The Fighting Knights move to 7-5 overall on the season.

Angelina Deleon opened the scoring with a layup and assisted a
Katie Tiffan three as the Blue and White trailed by two early

Serena Baker grabbed an offensive rebound and knocked down a pair of free throws to tie the game at nine

Trinity Mocadlo hesitated, then blew past her defender for a left-handed layup, but the Fighting Knights still trailed by 10 with eight minutes left in the first half

Danigzy Mantilla found Wentworth for a wide-open three at the 4:36 mark of the second quarter
- Lynn opened the second half on a 10–0 run, highlighted by eight points from Wentworth, to cut the deficit to eight, 38–30
- Mantilla buried a three to trim the margin to seven with eight minutes remaining in the third quarter
- Bowie State answered by pushing the lead back to double figures and held a 56-44 advantage through three quarters
- Wentworth drilled another three to pull Lynn within single digits with 7:21 remaining in regulation
- Free throws by Deleon and Wentworth made it a five-point game, 62-57
- Baker found Deleon open on the wing for a three to put Lynn within four
- Deleon made two of three at the line to cut the margin to four again, 67-63, with just under a minute left
- The Bulldogs scored on their next possession to help secure the road win
