Kristen Younes and
Zofia Podbiol each posted a win in their respective singles matches, but the third-ranked Lynn University women's tennis team suffered a 4-3 setback at No. 4 Embry-Riddle, Monday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn lost two of the three doubles matches to surrender the team point to the Eagles
- Younes and
Carla Galmiche were the only doubles team to post a win for the Fighting Knights, defeating Laura Cuesta Bret and Carla Cabero del Hie in the first flight, 7-6 (7-3).
- Younes and Galmiche improved to 4-1 in No. 1 singles action.
- Vyshkina dominated in first flight singles, defeating Aik Maissane, 6-3, 6-0.
- She is now 4-1 in singles with two back-to-back wins in the first spot.
- Younes added the Fighting Knight's second point with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-0 comeback win in the third flight over Jessica Wira Hadipoe.

- Podbiol recorded the last win for the Fighting Knights in the fifth spot, defeating Cabero del Hie in a tie-breaker, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4)
- She is now 3-0 in singles and 1-0 at No. 5 singles
- Galmiche lost to Cuesta Bret, 6-1, 3-6, 5-7, in a narrow second flight contest.
