BOCA RATON, Fla. – Five Fighting Knights scored in double figures as Lynn defeated Saint Leo 99-85 in its final home game of the regular season on Wednesday, 99-85.
Carson Smith led the Fighting Knights with 21 points while
Leo Beath posted a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Lynn never trailed in the contest and is now 18-7 overall and 13-6 in the Sunshine State Conference. In the first regional rankings heading into the game, the Fighting Knights were ranked fifth.

Carson Smith scored the first five points of the game

Jordan Wilkins knocked down a three for a 12-5 Lynn lead
- The Lions climbed within one twice and Wilkins responded with a three in both instances between the 12:16 and 11:04 mark

JP Baron's three-pointer again gave Lynn a four-point lead, 29-25, with 9:27 left in the first half

Leo Beath scored five points during a 7-0 Fighting Knight run for an 11-point margin
- Sven Birgisson and Beath hit back-to-back thres as the Lynn lead expanded to 15, 49-34
- Smith's three closed the half with the home team up by 12, 56-44
- Beath was rewarded with a rebound on the defensive end with a pass from Smith for a dunk at the offensive end for a 66-51 score

Austin Vick's offensive board and put-back gave Lynn an 18-point advantage with 14:12 showing on the clock
- Smith's layup put the Fighting Knights up by 20 but Saint Leo responded with a 10-0 run

John Roland scored six points during an 11-0 Blue and White run to push the lead to 21
- Beath later found Roland for a dunk and a 90-70 score with 4:40 remaining
- Vick put a stamp on the game with a dunk as the Fighting Knights won by 14

- Smith and Wilkins ranked top five in the SSC three-point field goal percentage and three-pointers per game
- Wilkins has made at least four threes in six consecutive games
