MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Junior
Paul Mosley shined at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational this weekend, setting a facility and school record in the 100m (10.18). He took first in the 100m finals as well as helped the Fighting Knights secure a win in the 4x200 relay.
The men's track team finished fifth out of 31 teams while the women placed 15th in a pool of 29 total teams. The Blue and White combined for four total wins and 12 top-five finishes.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Men):
- The men started off Thursday's events with the 10k

Joseph Haynes took fourth place with a time of 32:34.77 for a new school record

Christopher Cotilla placed 14th in the 10k with a time of 34:51.14
- Friday morning kicked off with the men's open mile

Cameron Matejka took second with a school-record time of 4:21.97

Luke Sweatman followed Matejka in sixth with a time of 4:24.56

Paul Mosley secured first place in the 100m prelims, finishing in 10.45
- In the 400m open,
Matthew Gusmano took 10th with a time of 51.21

McClain Zendejas followed in 11th place at 51.30

Denzel Rigaud took 16th in 110m hurdle prelims with a time of 16.69
- The Men's 4x800 relay team (Matejka, Barrios, Haynes and Oliveira) took first place with a time of 8:00.21 for a Lynn school record
- The Men's 4x200 relay team (Clark, Bryant, LeBrun and Mosley) also set a school record with a first place time of 1:24.66
- The Men's 4x100 relay opened up Saturday's events as Oliver, Mosley, Donaldson and Zendejas took 11th place (42.73)
- Haynes took sixth in the one mile collegiate, finishing in 4:27.72
- In the 400m collegiate,
Collin Clark took runner-up with a time of 48.72

Robert LeBrun followed Clark closely, finishing in fifth place at 48.96
- Mosley secured first in the 100m collegiate finals with a time of 10.18, making him the facility record holder and school record holder
- In the 800m, Matejka took third place with a time of 1:55.76 making him the new
school record holder
- The men's 4x400 relay team (Clark, Mosley, Bryant and LeBrun) finished the meet with a second place finish of 3:16.06.

- The women's team started Friday morning with the open 400m

Lily Koch took eighth place in the event with a time of 1:03.83
- In the open 100m,
Mira Akan took 12th, finishing in 12.45
- Noemia Gagliardi took sixth in the open 800m with a time of 2:35.08
- The women's 4x200 relay (Giustino, Smith, Bishop and Bray) took ninth with a new school record time of 1:47.69
- In the 4x100 relay, Smith, Akan, Bray, and Giustino took ninth, finishing in 49.24

Jessica Lombardo took seventh in 1 mile collegiate with a time of 5:24.95 for a new Lynn record

Emma Smith took 11th in the 400m collegiate with a time of 1:01.
- Howard finished just .90 seconds later for a 12th place finish of 1:01.90
- In the 400m hurdles collegiate, Akan took third with a time of 1:04.00 for a new school record
- The Lynn women's 4x400 team (Smith, Giustino, Bray and Akan) closed out the meet with a fourth place finish (4:08.33)
