BOCA RATON, Fla.- The No. 38-ranked Lynn men's tennis team got back in the win column after downing Sunshine State Conference foe, Palm Beach Atlantic, on Monday afternoon. The Fighting Knights rallied for five singles wins to drown out the Sailfish, 5-2.

Lynn improved to 9-6 overall and 3-4 against SSC competition.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn dropped the doubles point, only claiming victory in the No. 1 spot
- The team of
Alessio Demichelis and Davide Cortimglia defeated Luis Platas and Milan Visontai in top-ranked doubles, 6-2
- The pair are a perfect 5-0 this season playing out of the top doubles spot
- Lynn proceeded to take five out of the six singles contests to seal the victory
- Demichelis won in the top flight, defeating Platas, 6-2, 6-4
- He is now 5-4 this spring, solely playing in top-rated singles

Aymen Alimoussa claimed the second singles victory, downing Juanfer Contreras in the third flight, 6-2, 6-3
- Alimoussa leads the Fighting Knights with nine wins in singles competition this season
- Cortimiglia won in No. 4 singles action, defeating Kylian Coiteux, 7-5, 6-1
- He has claimed victory in seven of his last nine singles bouts.

Lennart Ostheimer beat Imani Beharry on the fifth court, 6-2, 6-2
- Monday's victory in the fifth flight mark's Ostheimer's first win in the No. 5 singles spot

- Azar has won four of his last six singles matches; he's 2-1 in the sixth flight
