WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The 26th ranked Lynn University women's tennis team suffered a 4-3 setback to No. 16 Florida Southern in the 2025 Sunshine State Conference Tournament Opener, Friday afternoon.

Kristen Younes downed No. 26 Kennedi Brown and Kelly Klaren in top-ranked doubles, 6-3
- The duo is now 12-3 this spring with five-straight wins in No. 1 doubles

Zofia Podbiol wrapped up doubles competition with a 6-4 win over Emily Jennewein and Ronja Scheuermann
- Djoubri and Podbiol improved to 4-2 in 2025 with all six matches being played in the No. 2 spot
- Djoubri, who is ranked ninth in singles competition, claimed the first singles win for the Fighting Knights, downing Olivia Bryant in the top spot, 6-1, 6-3
